PROVIDING SERVICES FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES TO ENHANCE THE COMMUNITY...
Programs and
services at the Scott Center are available to young people ages 6-18,
and their family members. The Center also provides specific
services for special populations when the need and interest arises.
While we encourage young people and their families to join the Center,
and participate in our programs, individuals may also be referred by
schools, community based organizations/agencies (public and private),
churches, friends, or family.

We believe that each young person is special with unique strengths
and skills. We strive to draw upon and reinforce these strengths
in designing and implementing the Scott Center's programs, utilizing a
strength-based approach. We also believe that the developmental
needs of young people are best met through the guidance and nurturance
of their families. The Scott Center endeavors to provide services,
which affirm the roles of the family, preserve, and
strengthen family
functioning, and support and empower parents.
Parental involvement
is encouraged and we realize that such support and involvement
strengthen our efforts.

The programs and services at the Scott Center are designed and
delivered with a mutual respect for the rights, well being, and dignity
of our members. No one is denied services based on race, creed,
religion, national origin, disability or income.
